1969 Volkswagen Kombi(T2)

The Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi was produced from August 1967 until July 1979. There was a number of different ranges during the Type 2 production years, namely: The T2a(Early Bay, T2b(Late Bay) and the T2c. This car being the T2a Low Light, meaning it was one of the earlier models with the indicators sitting below the headlights. This Kombi has never been painted or restored and remains cosmetically original. The original engine still remains, although some slight modifications to make it more drivable have been done:
- A big bore kit taking it from a 1600cc to a 1776cc
- G-Tech ignition
- Twin port heads
- External oil cooler
- Weber dual draught carburetor
- Upgraded camshaft
This is an excellent driving car with lots of patina.
